Ashton Apartments – Superintendent Representative

Ashton Apartments Project is the Department of Communities’ first project linked with the Metronet affording housing program, with an aim to provide affordable housing for key workers in Perth, including mobility dependent. The project includes the construction of a 3-storey building featuring 5 x 1 Bedroom 1 Bathroom apartments; 15 x 2 Bedroom and 2 Bathroom apartments, and 5 x 3 Bedroom and 2 Bathroom Dwellings, with many internal sizes designed to be DDA compliant. The site is situated close to a railway station to allow access to the train network. The external works includes carpark, fencing and landscaping.

Our Role

Successful Projects were appointed as Project Superintendent’s Representative by the Department of Communities to deliver this Housing project. We drive the contractual requirements of the First 30 days of Superintendence, through to the current practical completion date for August 2021.


We are currently fulfilling the role to ensure the project will be delivered in accordance with the contract. We assess variation claims, EOT claims, certified payments under the Project Bank Account requirements and managing the on-time delivery of the project. We undertake strict monthly site inspection visits and generate monthly reports for the Principal. Included in our deliverables to manage the installation of mobility access fittings ensuring the correct code compliance is endured to and approved by mobility consultant.
