Jimblebar Mine in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, approximately 30km East of Newman. The JMB dewatering plan is designed to enable the optimal mine plan and ensure the FY19-23, 5-year plan is not constrained by dewatering. A key component of the JMB dewatering plan is the commencement of dewatering at the HASHI 1, 2 and 3 pushbacks which will result in a significant increase in the volume of surplus water, to approx. 89ML/day, commencing in FY21. The current surplus water management capacity at JMB sits at 24ML/day.
Role
Successful projects provided the project planning and control services to Monadelphous by creating site mitigation program, shutdown program, updating weekly progress report, and S-curve. Additionally maintain Register for Schedule changes, delays, and issues on regular basis. Additionally we developed shutdown program considering new 33KV Ring Main Unit (RMU) Tie-in.
Outcomes
The creation of detailed WTG program has helped project team to manage the works to remain progressing the works per plan. Additionally Successful Projects have gained good control on the delays on the site by maintaining delay register with periodic updates. and significant delays were incorporated into the P6 program for future claims.
