Double Tree Hilton | Construction Planning
The Doubletree Hilton Waterfront project is an 18-story high end luxury hotel on Perth’s waterfront next to Elizabeth Quay. The hotel contains 18 stories of room, including an outside pool, sauna, gym, rooftop bard and lounge, restaurant, and outdoor seating area.
Role
Our role was to provide time planning services, including development of the construction target program and undertake fortnightly progress updates to track site works against a target program.
Our approach included attending the site on a fortnightly basis to track progress against the target program. COVID-19 brought labour shortage challenges resulting in substantial delays with material delivery and the site was limited to social distancing regulations.
We rescheduled the works such as starting services commissioning earlier than scheduled aiding the Services Manager to coordinate and manage services works on site.
Outcomes
Our planning services assisted the Site Manager to observe and manage critical areas of work, executing decisions on site with confidence on a fortnightly basis, prior to site management meetings. Our services also assisted the Services Manager by providing critical path and look ahead programs.
