Landgate Midland Office Refurbishment | Project Management
The Landgate office in Midland underwent significant modernisation, both internally and externally, as part of a major refurbishment, as captured in the photo by Georgiou above. This extensive upgrade transformed the base building into a modern, highly efficient workspace for Landgate, the Department of Communities, and Child & Adolescent Health Services staff. As part of this project, Landgate staff relocated from the north and south nodes of their Midland office into the central node
Role
Successful Projects were appointed as Project and Program Managers by Landgate to oversee the office relocation and coordinate the project team responsible for installing new network, IT, and ICT equipment. We also managed internal Landgate staff across various service streams, providing project updates and tracking key tasks and program progress.
Outcomes
We successfully managed the project through various challenges, including shifting handover dates, maintaining live operations without impacting the public, coordinating with two external network carriers, and adhering to the testing and commissioning timeframes for ICT and AV systems. Landgate staff completed their move into the new central node on July 29th and 30th, 2024.
