Nammuldi Below Water Table | Planning Engineer
The Nammuldi Below Water Table (NBWT) Project is located within the Pilbara region of Western Australia, situated approximately 60 km north-west of Tom Price. The project scope includes the following:
- Fabricate and install new bleed lines from the scrubber dilution water pipes to the primary hoppers, including valves, flowmeters, and instrumentation.
- Fabrication and installation of structural pipe supports and maintenance access platforms.
- Commission the new pipelines.
Role
Successful Projects was engaged in the preparation of the detailed tender schedule. Our role was to liaise with the Operation Manger and the Project Manager at DIAB Engineering to estimate time to finish the project scope of works, required resources and develop comprehensive plan for tender submission.
Outcomes
The summary tender schedule was developed and detailed following the best practices in the industry using Primavera P6. After the completion of the detailed schedule, senior planner from successful projects analysed the associated risks and ran what if scenarios to provide better understanding. These risks & scenarios were shared with the stakeholders to further enhance the detailed schedule and come up with solutions to reduce the impact of these risks. The schedule was then adjusted accordingly and shared for final review prior official submission as a part of tender documents, ahead of time exceeding stakeholders’ expectations.
