State Football Centre | Construction Planning

The State Football Centre includes training facilities and playing fields to support grassroots, community, and high-performance football programs. It will include a two-storey building, with a grandstand (standard capacity of 700), a community building, two competition and training pitches, three 5-a-side playing pitches, external areas, and on-site car parking.  The project achieved several milestones with the construction of first-class training facilities and pitches, and commissioning of services completed on time for the preparation of national teams participating in the FIFA Women World Cup 2023 (FWWC2023),

Role

Our Planning Services played a crucial role in providing support to the Project Managers and Superintendent Representative. We ensured a clear vision of the project’s execution and actively participated in assessing Extension of Time claims. The project offered valuable insights and lessons to Permit Acquisition, Supply Chain Management, Material Selection Process,  Site Contamination

Outcomes

Successful Projects actively involved in the Construction phase of the State Football Centre from its early design stages until project completion. Our Planning Services assisted the Department of Finance Project Manager and Superintendent’s Representative with project planning and status reporting throughout the project. Our role was crucial in effective project management, risk mitigation, claims assessments, and constant engagement through site visits and reports played a pivotal part in the project’s completion.

The State Football Centre reached Practical Completion on 5 July 2023 to meet the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.
