Synergy KBESS | Planning Engineer

The Kwinana Battery Energy Storage System (KBESS) project is a 100MW/200MWh battery storage facility to be located at the Kwinana Power Station (KPS) site in Western Australia.
The Facility shall be connected into the South West Interconnected Network (SWIN) and is being developed to participate in the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) to absorb excess renewable generation and to provide essential system services (ESS).
There are two sites for the projects:
Site 1 – BESS
Site 2 – 330/33/33kV 2x250MVA Substation

Role

Successful Projects assisted the client in updating Design Program, prepare S-Curve, Powerbi Dashboards and deliver the project.
