Why is it important to know where your Critical Path is?
If you need to shorten your project, you need to move some tasks off the Critical Path or shorten the duration of tasks on the Critical Path. One way of doing this is to add resources to a particular task.
But if you do not know where the Critical Path is, you may be applying additional resources to tasks that do not shorten the project at all!!
That is why you need to know your Critical Path.
